Description

The fourth episode of the Interface series was published by 'u m a m i' on February 13th, 2018. This episode features KAMI, as well as the first appearance of The Ghost. The episode takes place an unknown amount of time after the events of Episode 03.

Who is the mysterious hand and the young girl?

Summary

The episode begins in an apartment with the television static distorting between faces (similar to the underneath of KAMI's faceplate seen in Episode 03). Here we are introduced to The Ghost and the sleeping child beside her. The scene then changes to a sinking car in a bright red river, matching the colour of the sky. This is later confirmed in Episode 20 to be the car crash caused by Henryk that resulted in the death of his granddaughter and grandson-in-law. On the shore of the river are Mischief and The Ghost.

Mischief absorbs the cerebral electricity from the corpses of the two adults in the car, while the child, Henryk's great-granddaughter, is rescued by The Ghost. The shot then cuts to KAMI approaching an apartment building where The Ghost and the granddaughter are. The child awakens and goes to the window. KAMI then dissolves the exterior of the building into static and opens her ribcage to release a wave of cerebral electricity that absorbs The Ghost, leaving the child behind.
